Hi,
I have had many symptoms for the last several months, but the main ones are a tingling/numbness sensation in my face and hands and a rapid heart rate upon standing. I also feel very lightheaded most of the time and have constant pressure headaches. I've seen dr. after dr. to rule out serious problems. I've had many ekg's, an echo, holter tests, labs, head CT, and a chest CT. I saw a Neuro last week and am scheduled for an MRI of my brain and cervical spine on Monday.
Well, yesterday my symptoms started to get worse. I didn't have any numbness or tingling when I woke up, but in the middle of the afternoon the right side of my face and right arm started to tingle. The sensation started to get really strong and then it went away. Then, about an hour later I had the tingling spread over my entire face again. And, this morning I passed out after standing up.
Can anyone give me any ideas as to what could possibly be causing my symptoms? I am only 24 and was previously in good health. My Neuro said that if my MRI turned out ok, there wasn't much else he could do. I would really appreciate any reply's.
Thanks,
Hilery

This sounds like it could be a ruptured disk. You might call the neurologists office and let them know you passed out, they may squeeze you in sooner, this sounds like a medical emergency to me. Keep us posted, o.k.?
