Lately out of no where my mouth will start to taste really bitter any ideas on what could cause this?? Could a tonsilectomy I had almost 3 months ago cause something like this??

Alleycat- Sometimes a bitter taste in the mouth can be caused by
infection or pus originating from a periodontal or alveolar abscess, not necessarily accompanied by tooth pain.
Bitter taste can also occur with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, heartburn, jaundice,or postnasal drip.
Not sure if your tonsilectomy has anything to do with this, unless there is possibly some infection going on.
If it continues, see your doctor or, if it's easier, get a dental check up first.
