Has anyone gone on this with good results? I used to be on Celexa with okay results, nothing great, but I went off them last year because I wanted my sex drive back. But now that I've been off them for awhile, I have been feeling really depressed, and my drive is just really low right now as a result of that. Anyone went on Wellbutrin with good results, and did it lower their sex drive as I've read it's supposed to not do that?

It has a lower chance of affecting your sex drive than SSRIs do. There is still a chance.

Wellbutrin worked well for me, although not quite as well as Zoloft. Wellbutrin didn't effect sex drive like Zoloft did.

I had a successful treatment with Wellbutrin. No problems with sex drive, very effective AD, but not so good for anxiety.

I used to be on wellbutrin alone. It made me kind of hyper. If you have anxiety issues, but might not be so good. It is used sometimes with SSRIs to combat the sexual side effects. I'm on paxil and wellbutrin now, a combination that works fairly well.

Hi everyone, I'm new here.

I'm currently on Wellbutrin. I've been on it for about 3 years. I was already on Zoloft when they started me on the Wellbutrin, so I don't know if the sexual side effects I've had are from the Wellbutrin or the Zoloft. From some of the research I've done, I'm guessing it's the Zoloft.

Anyway, I've only had good experiences with the Wellbutrin. A few months back I started decreasing the Zoloft, and have noticed an increase in sex drive and ability to experience more pleasure during sex. I'm hoping that once I'm off the Zoloft, I will actually experience a climax during sex, which has not been possible while on Zoloft. So, it seems that the Wellbutrin doesn't have sexual side effects like others may have.

Being that I'm on 2 medications, I'm not sure which side effects come from which drug. But, back when I was only on Zoloft, and still depressed, my doctor put me on Wellbutrin, and it helped get me back to my peppy and happy self. So, it's done nothing but good for me. :)

Take care

I don't really suffer from anxiety, so Wellbutrin may be okay for me. And being hyper wouldn't hurt since I normally just feel tired all the time.

I hate the low sex drive that came with Celexa. I remember going off of it, and all of a sudden I actually wanted sex again. But then when you're really depressed, you're not in the mood either, so it's like a lose/lose situation.

Yeah, that's the case for me too. I don't really want sex either way. But I'm single, so I don't care. ;)
