It could be caused by the same thing that causes acid reflux. It could also be gallstones. You'd need an ultrasound to check that. You'll have to tell your doctor about it.

Or it could be an ulcer.

Hello Ashpie,
Good to hear from you -- Gee it's been a long time. Sorry about your pain but congradulations about your Pregnancy!
The pain sorta sound like gallbadder. Pressing on the ulcer I had -- never made any difference-- it just hurt but was relieved by food like milk or even a banana.

I certainly agree being pregnant calls for caution and you should be checked by Your Doctor just to be safe.

God Bless--- Harry

Getting gall stones in pregnancy is common since the hormone that stops the uterus from contracting also stops the gall bladder from contracting as well. This means bile sits in there and over time it settles out and form stones.
I had this when I was pregnant with my first and had to wait until after delivery to have surgery...
They did an ultrasound to see if there were stones, and there were. So I had to try and watch what I ate so I didn't have too many attacks. Luckily Iwas further along and didn't have so long to wait.
Get this checked and try to avoid foods that cause you pain. Hope you get some relief!
