Look, I'm sorry but I relapsed big time ... I felt a lot of emotional stress (I know it's a bad excuse) and I'm trying to get myself back together before I quit again. I'm planning to quit in around 6 weeks time - I'll be back then.
Hope you and Laurie are doing well.
See ya in a few weeks!! Stay strong for all of us!

I'm in the same boat as Invinc.. I'm still smoking, but I'm shooting for the spring to try and quit again.. not sure I'll make it then, but I will keep trying until I get it... hope everything is going good with you and the rest of the people on here.. glad to see some one maken it as a non-smoker.. even thou I'm smoking again I still come to the board to lurk, helps me some with not smoking as much.. since I have started back I'm not smoking them like I use to I might smoke 6 cigs a day.. which is good compaired to smoking a pack a day .. anyhoo I'm outta here, will post from time to time .. Take Care!!!

Hi Deda! I'm still around, just haven't posted in a long time!
I did buy a pack of cigarettes the other day, I took one out and threw the rest in the trash at the gas station. I smoked about half of the one I kept out. Tasted aweful!! So I tossed that out the window.
Other than that I've been doing great! Watching my belly grow a little more every day!

Hey girl, glad you posted, I've been wondering what happened to you too. Glad to hear that you're still smoke free, and especially glad to hear that you sh**canned that pack of cigarettes. I'm sure your baby would thank you too if he could. :) Just not worth it Fireball, and you would've regretted it later. Now don't go and try anything like that again, :nono: especially after you have that baby. You want him breathing nothing but clean fresh air after he gets here, okay? Other than that...why did you go buy those cigs? Were you having a real bad crave, or were you upset or something? Next time go buy an ice cream cone instead!

To be honest, it wasn't a bad crave, which is why I threw the pack out. It was almost it was to see why I didn't miss it. Does that make sense? Because I really don't miss smoking at all. But I think I was curious to see if it was as good as I used to think it was. I know it doesn't sound rational, but that was it.
And yes it was an expensive drag!! Oh well, live and learn.

Yeah, that does make sense. I had a little relapse in Jan., and bought a pack. They tasted awful!! :( But unlike you, silly me had to smoke the whole pack. Took 2 days and I was nausous the whole time, and dizzy too. Why did I have to smoke the whole pack? Can't stand to waste things, like food, I was taught to clean my whole plate! Dumb...I know! Well at least now we know we're not missing anything, right?! CACA!! :eek: !!!!!!!!!
