Hey, I've recently been having difficulty breathing. It's not that I can't breathe, but it's a sensation as if someone was squeezing my trachea. In addition, for the past 3 weeks, there seems to be a ball of flegm stuck deep inside my throat that just doesn't seem to go away. I would also like to include that the breathing problem comes and goes. Could this be caused by asthma?

hey...
it could be asthma.. your doctor can give you a test which can determine whether you have it or not... it is based on inhaling a chemical at different concentrations, and seeing how your breathing changes... i would also look into something called "vocal cord dysfunction".. you can search for it on the internet.. you might also inquire about GERD.. in a lof of ppl (me inclusive) it causes breathing problems...
best,
peter
