Ive had asthma since I was 13. I was a very large person back then. 270lbs was my heaviest weight. I am not 18, 6'0", 219lbs, and even thought that's still over weight - I do not need my inhailers anymore. I don't experience any breathing problems, especially when i run. Could it be that my asthma has gone, or is it just under control due to my excersizing?

I think asthma symptoms can just sort of go into "remission" sometimes. This winter has been really good for (following a really good summer as well). I can't even remember the last time I used my inhalers! Feels great!

Congratulations on the exercising and weight loss. That certainly can be a tremendous help with asthma. I hope the improvement with your asthma is permanent. However, it is not uncommon for asthma to go into a sort of remission - sometimes for many years - and then resurface in the future. I had asthma as a child but it pretty much disappeared when I was a teenager ... and it found me again when I was about 24.
