Is whole wheat flour good for you while wou're trying to lose weight? Or is it not much better than the regular white flour?

Whole wheat flour is good for you healthwise. It has the same amount of calories as white flour, so it won't make you lose weight faster. The point of using whole wheat flour in place of white flour is to get the benefits of the natural nutrients in the flour... and those nutrients are stripped in white flour.
So, use white flour if it makes a huge difference taste-wise for you. But if you want to feel healthier, I recommend you use whole-wheat instead. :)
