View Full Version : Mathematical/Logic-Reasoning Problems?

Might I have a learning disorder?

Many people in my life consider me intelligent. My verbal skills are somewhat excellent and my grades in school are VERY good.

However, I seem to fall short in the Mathematics department.

I have trouble grasping concepts, and often get flustered when looking at a plethora of numbers, letters, and superscripts printed on a page.

Problems that take the average person a few minutes may take me an hour.

Could there be something wrong? There are often times where I will stare at Math Work for hours, and attempt many ways to understand it, but nothing will come to me.

Thanks.

Have a look at nonverbal learning disorders and maybe dyscalculia.
