I've been off the boards trying to forget about all this stuff. I had a cyst on my ovary form the drugs so I can't do a cycle this month. i was/am really discouraged about it. I am actually on the pill for this month to get rid of the cyst. How are you feeling? How's the countdown going? I sure am crossing my fingers for you.

I am sorry to hear about your cyst. Do your doctors think it was from the fertility drugs (clomid?) I just had my day 3 ultrasound yesterday and my nurse said "oh, good no cysts." I was kind of wondering why she would even state that. Am I at risk for cysts now that I am taking clomid and follistim?

Just try and stay positive. I know it is hard! I will say a prayer for you!

You are right, it is hard to stay positive. I'm usually the person, of all my friends who sees the positive in everything and this experience is making me see the other side. I am so happy for you that everything looked good and you are on to number 2! Yes, my dr. said anytime you stimulate the ovaries there is a chance of cysts. That's why they do the day 3 or 4 ultrasound, to check for cysts. If you get them, they won't do the cycle b/c they can grow and become painful w/the drugs. So, I"m taking one step forward and 3 steps back, it seems. I"m just so discouraged, so I kind of have been off the boards b/c I don't want to bring anyone down! It's hard enough to go through trying times without some dead beat sharing their disappointments! It's so funny though, that when I have friends and family getting pg without even trying it makes me mad but here, I am not jealous our hurt, just happy. Like with you moving on, I'm just happy and hope it works...I guess it's b/c others going through it know how hard it is so it's easy to be happy for them. Anyway...blah, blah, blah...when do you think you'll have the IUI? I've heard of a lot of people having success after 2 or 3, so this could be it!!! Know that I'm thinking about you even if I'm not posting as much.
