I am seeing by reading the posts that Candida is often brought up. I am curious because I have been feeling tired, out of it(spacey), irritable, like I have brain fog. After talking to my step mom and checking out this board I am beginning to wonder if this is my problem. I eat horribly and when I do eat it is junk food or carbs. Is this what is making me feel this way and if so what should I do? I feel more spaced out after eating certain foods. I had tons of pizza tonight and it literally is making me feel horrible. It is messing my life up big time. Any suggestions or info would be super appreciated!!!!

It really does sound that way! I felt that way for years - 7 actually. I was given different hoeopathic remedies (since the medical profession rarely acknowledges this) but I never stuck with any for a length of time. Most of them tasted terrible or were difficult to remember to take.

However, I found an awesome product!! I used to have a thrush-like whiteness on my tongue from candida. It is almost completely gone! My acne has cleared up and my pH level has become more balanced rather than acidic.

There is an easy way to test for this -- check out the following website:

I have had Candida since I was 12 yrs old and I am now 35. I will tell you a very easy way ( well, actually not so easy but necessary) of finding out if you have Candida or not. Cut out ALL sugars (this includes carbs), vinegars (dressings etc.), molds, and fermented foods from your diet for 5 days. If you start feeling horrible it is a sure sign. This is because Yeast (Candida) feeds thrives and multiplies on these foods and once you cut them abruptly out of your diet, if you do have an overgrowth, you will start experiencing what is called as "Die off". This happens when the yeast in your body starts to die because it's lost it's nourishment and when the yeast dies it releases toxins which then need to find their way out of your body. You may breakout in acne and experience extreme fatigue, body aches, gastrointestinal symptoms ect. You may be one of those lucky people who just start feeling better rather than experiencing die off. Everyone is different, but this is my suggestion to you. Vegetables are very good for Candida!! When I am having a flare up I usually eat some Caulflower and Broccoli. Just because I have had it for so long, don't think that you will. I got it when knowone knew what it was yet, and had it for years before being diagnosed so it really had a lot of time to "take hold" so to speak.
