One of my good friends is 18. She is classified as severe fatal asthmatic. She and I are both seen at National Jewish. She has been tubed many times and arrested even a few times. ICU is her home away from home. She started Xolair and within the first month she was running around sniffing everything she couldn't sniff before. She is almost out of her low yellow zone which is an accomplishment because she's been red all her life. She has finally hit an FEV1 of 60% of predicted. It has done wonders for her.
