i just got out of the hospital yesterday, finding out the hard way that asthma and pneumonia don't really mix so well. for all of you out there that have questions about this condition, or anxiety, it's ok. i've had it since i was two, and even though i'm just 17, it's been a big deal. the nebs, the inhalers, the pills, the allergy shots...oh my... :-P. nothing can keep me from doing my normal teen things...so on tuesday...i will resume my position in my marching band and participate in the first fooball game of the season... nothing should keep ya from doing what ya want to... never let it get in the way!! i don't!

Ya know... your right, nothing should stop you. Im in the same boat as you. A teenager with severe asthma. Unfortunatly... I just wanna go on long jogs... ride my bike through dirt trails, and work out, with asthma as bad as I have, it doesnt ever happen http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif BUT! on the flipside hopefully ill get the hookup with Xolair. Then ill be runnin like a champ ;P But ya dont let it get you down. I still was able to play football, and started part junior year and all senior year. Our team even went to the Championships. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
Anyways
Always hang on to that attitude.
