Hi Everyone.....Just letting you all know that today is my 21st smoke free day............woohoo :)
And it's goin a lot easier than i thought, cravings have decreased dramatically, same normal eating pattern (hahaha i think) I went out and got some rice cakes to munch on just so i don't pig out on junk food!!! But i'm just shocked that this is a lot easier than i thought it would be......i've been smoking since i was about 12 or 13 but that was only a couple of cigs every couple of days...high school, i made it to about a pack a day and now been out of high school 7 years. so i was a pretty heavy smoker! I went out to the bar friday night, thought it was gonna be hell for me....but nope, it was smooth sailin . the smoke even bothered me...burned my nose for some reason! the only time i craved was when i first sat down and had the first drink.....the rest of the night was great for me!!!! I am proud of myself and proud of all you guys !

Good Luck and stay smoke free!!!

Oh...one more good thing....i'm saving myself a whole lotta $$$$

Hey Angelface..

Glad to hear that it's going so well for you, and congratulations on 21 days smoke free!!! Some people seem to have an easier time of it, and I think it could very well just be that some of us have a stronger determination to quit than others. Whatever it is, you are lucky, but be careful, difficulty quitting can come later for some too. Way to go girl on preparing yourself with those low fat snacks, that's always a good idea. You must be strong to go to a bar so soon after you quit and not have it bother you! Keep up the good work, and keep in touch with us. :)

My sentiments exactly my dear Deda to angelface LOL :)

That's GREAT ANGELFACE :bouncing: Don't ever let your guard down though, but yes - I hope it's that easy for you forever. :)

I'm just over 4 months clean (LOL sound like a true junkie) and I feel GREAT and have stepped it up at the gym too. It's wonderful to beat the nasty habit :)

Stay strong and post on your milestone markers or every day if you'd like :)
