I hope this helps you:
Crabs are round, bugs that look like crabs. THey are visible to the naked eye and live in pubic, chest and even armpit hair. If you look hard enough, you can actually see them. You usually get crabs by having pubic-hair-to-pubic-hair contact with someone else who has them. But you can also get them from sleeping on infested bedding, using towels, or borrowing clothing from someone who has them (like a roommate).
Scabies are mites that live under the skin, they cause skin irritations that resemble eczema, allergies, or even poison ivy. You may find raised bumps or ridges on the skin between fingers, under the breasts, around the waist, wrists, genitals, or buttocks. You can get scabies through both sexual contact and contact with infested clothing, bedding, towels, or even furniture.
Both are treatable with a trip to the Dr. - do not try to home remedy yourself with this one- in addition to treating yourself- you must also treat your bedding, furniture, towels, clothing etc. - Just like you do if head lice are brought into your house.
