Has anyone ever heard of putting an 11 year old Autistic boy on Excelon? It is an alzheimer's med.

My daughter was given a book, by a child psychiatrist to read & determine if meds would be what they wanted for 1 or our autistic twins (5yrs. old) It was very informative, but I don't remember the name of the book. Perhaps you could call someone. My grandson is on a med. but not that one.
