I know that you can get thrush from taking Advair, but I was wondering if you can get a vaginal yeast infection from taking Advair. I can't seem to find the insert from the disk, so I don't know if it's one of the listed side effects. Thanks!

highly doubt it. Unless the corticosteroids weaken your immune system. But I doubt that enough is absorbed from the lungs/throat when inhaled to cause decreased immune function. So my answer is no.

You're super-duper reaching. Advair's corticosteroids more so work topically, to produce topical effects and topical results. That's why this thrush is limited to the mouth.
Have you been on antibiotics lately? Do you douche?
There's lots of reasons why one would get a yeast infection.

I don't douche and I haven't been on antibiotics lately. I posted another message in a different area. I just went to the OB/Gyn for my annual last week and these symptoms appears about three days later. I'm wondering if there's a connection there.

*shrugs* No way to tell.
Sometimes these things just happen.
If you've changed lubricants or used any other kind of product down there, that could cause it. Condoms. Spermicides. That kind of thing.
But antibiotics and douching are the big ones, for sure.
