I went to my doctor today, she really relieved some of my fears. we went over the results of my tests. I have colestorol stones(good news) and my gall bladder is not inflamed(more good news). I have agreed to make an appointment with a gastrologist, to talk about my options. I don't think laposcopic surgery is right for me because I have a severe case of asthma. She says that I should have the gallstones removed. I mentioned the idea of bile salt to dissolve the stones and she gave me a momth's supply. I guess because she says there's not much success, but mostly because she wasn't sure my insurance would cover it(It does, the generic version.) My question is does anyone here have asthma and had gallstones as well? If so which method did you use to get rid of the stones. I figure that as long as the gallbladder itself isn't inflamed, why get the gallbladder out...... What do you think?
