I was diagnosed towards the beginning of the summer with asthma, moderate to light more than likely, and once I found the certain combination of medicine that worked for me, I have been doing much better. Since I am 23, and never really officially known that I had asthma, doctor thinks that I have had it for a while (3-4 years) and just did not realize it, I am still trying to figure out what are the certain things that can be caused by asthma and what are just other ailments. In addition, they also found that I have acid reflux, more than likely caused by a variety of stressful situations encountered over the last couple of years, coupled with late workout habits (College student so my schedule is a little out of whack).
To the point however, from time to time, I find that I will get what feels like a tightness, or even muscle cramp/ache in my upper back, usually right behind the shoulder blade area. This is not all the time, but does occur occasionally. In addition, occasionally, I will encounter a problem with my jaw in which it will seize or cramp up for a little while and then will eventually dissipate over the course of a few minutes.
Was just wondering if these are similar symptoms to those that others have encountered. I am well aware that the jaw issue could just be lockjaw, just wondering if there was a correlation.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Currently taking flovent, clarinex and prevacid
Thanks in advance

I have TMJ [temporomandibular disorder/disfunction] and what do you mean by jaw cramp???
I don't understand what you meant in this part. If so you might have TMJ. I am surprised to find out that so many people have it!!! Let me now okay?
Thanks
