HI all.
I am 59 year old female.
I think I am having my first asthma attack it has lasted 3 mos.
I have been to the great P doctor test all come back great.( then why can't i breath and why am i coughing and wheezzing?)
All I had in the begaining was a dry cough. Then a very hard deep cough then a cough like i was going to choke to death, now my nose is stuffy and I blow out green junk, i am week, head hurts and sometimes i do cough up a thick green matter. Has anyone else had anything like this? Guess what it's not a cold!!!!!!!

Have you had yor sinuses checked? Months before I was diagnosed with asthma, I had similiar symtoms. When I finally had my 1st asthma attack, the sinuses is what brought it on. I urge you to see your doctor.

Good Luck

This may sound gross, but if you can, when you cough up that thick green stuff you were talking about and you're having trouble breathing, stick it in a napkin and go to the ER. That will tell them what they're trying to deal with, as well as possibly giving you an rx for meds.
