Hi,

I posted a topic in the diabetic board about this odd thing that happended with my Dad... but this thing scared me so bad that my heart was racing and I was almost gasping for air. My chest, neck and throught feels really strange right now and my heart beats are close togeather and my pulse is hard to find in my arm. I am sweating as well. I have had these things for a while and my doctor doesn't know what it is. I have these bad shoulder and chest pains but so far nothing has been diagnosed.

I can't run or do alot of activity because my heart goes out of control and it skips really hard... once in a while it skips when I sit or walk but very light... it is like a big "boom" and like someone punched you and you lost your breath.

This scares me alot and I am afraid since I can't run that I will gain alot of weight and my health will get worse.

This is also one weird thing, where when I am sitting my chest/abdomen feels like it has sandpaper rubbing back and forth... almost like when you growl in your stomach.

Does any of this makes sense? I know it didn't to my doctor.

Does any of this make sense?

I get alot of the same things you are talking about and I've had alot of test done on my heart and the doctor seems to think alot of it must be in my head. He did see though that i was having skip beats and extra beats but told me not to worry about them. If I was you I would get a complete check up and whatever test your doctor felt like you needed and go from there. Not saying it is but it's possible that you could be having some type of panic disorder like me. Get it checked out so you can at least stop worrying. GOOD LUCK
