Three weeks ago I noticed 8 very small red bumps in my pubic hair area. They are so small that even when i brush my finger over them if i didnt know they were there i would not feel them. They do not itch, burn, or cause me any discomfort whatsoever. A few of them look to be right next to hair follicules but its very hard to tell if hair is coming out of them or to the very side of them. I have been shaving my pubic hair for probably a good 4 years now. They are not spreading at all and have remained virtually unchanged for the past three weeks. I have not had sex for 5 months so I know they are not herpes or anything because i found out that herpes does not stay dormant for very long (2 weeks at most) and it is very painful and these are not and they are not blisters or anything. Anyone else have these or know what they are? Another weird thing is that when i first wake up in the morning, they are almost skin color and hardly visible but as the day goes and i finally undress to go to bed they are slightly more visible. I'm just curious. Thanx for any reponses!

Could be heat, dry skin bumps, razor burn, clogged hair follicules, etc...

They could be many different things from, like the other poster said, folliculitis, to an allergy, to HPV or molluscum contagium, only a doctor could tell you for sure.
I did, however, want to comment on your herpes statement, which is incorrect. Herpes can stay dormant for weeks, months, or even years, before symptoms start to show, although most people (doctors estimate 80% of those infected) never even know they have herpes, because most people don't get any symptoms, or they get such mild symptoms, they shrug it off as being just razor burn, jock itch, a yeast infection, etc. Herpes outbreaks can be very mild....I myself only get 1 or 2 small bumps during my outbreaks, and they don't really bother me at all. I'm not saying what you have is herpes or anything, just that your info was wrong. Good luck with figuring out what it is. :)
