Does anyone know of a good cake recipe without, milk, casien, whey, eggs, soy, wheat, preservatives, dyes, alcohol flavorings? I wondered if something could be put together with carrots or zucchini? What about frosting? He is on a sugar restriction, due to candida. Any stevia tips? Thank you for all your help. My sons 3rd birthday is coming up shortly.

Hi Krissy I can definately get you a cake recipe, it's downstairs. I have read your posts on numerous boards and you and I are kindred spirits. On my daughters 3rd birthday, there was no cake, few presents. I had just realized why she would not talk, play with toys, had repetative motions, wild psychotic episodes a month or so ago, I was deep in figuring out biochemistry and gfcf cooking. Well, she just turned 4, is verbal (actually barely autistic) and had cake and presents (now that she knows how to play with toys), has been totally gfcf (no eggs or soy either) for 14 months, and yes, I figured out to make cake and ice cream. I would really like to exchange email addresses, I have a paper I'd really like you to have called "managing autism" by Willis Langford. I didn't know William Shaw had a son, I should have known. He's really nice, he talked to me... Julia still talks about her cake last month. Should it be carob? (Hers was. we did a cocoa challenge last week. What a mistake.) ltaddonio@compuserve.com Lisa
