Do you get tingling with Warts? I have had tingling and no other syptoms until now. I have had the blood test and it came back abnormal (positive) for HSV2. It has been a few weeks now and I have a few painless flesh colored bumps that I just noticed today. No blister or open soars. Shouldn't I be getting better? I have been on Zovirax for a week now. Could it be possible to have both, am I confused, misdiagnosed? Talk about stress, I was just trying to come to terms with the other.

I know I shouldn't be stressing but geez I feel like I am in the movie Forrest Gump when Leutenant Dan climbed up the boat pole and started screaming "Come on give me some more".................

When i had my first outbreak there was a lot of tingling so that's to be expected, the first outbreak is always the worst, and usually lasts the longest, mine lasted for almost a month even on therapy. Only a doctor could tell you for sure whether it was warts or herpes or both, i don't remember my outbreak looking like flesh colored bumps, they were definetely different. Unfortunetly with everyone it IS different, you never know how your body is going to react or what exactly it's going to look like, just look at the misdiagnosed post....expect your first outbreak to last awhile...

I'm not sure what happens with warts, I don't have experience in that department. I'm a little confused...... you have tested positive for herpes, but you've never had an outbreak? or you HAVE had an outbreak? The flesh-colored bumps don't sound too much like herpes, but then herpes can look like many different things. I don't know anything about blood-testing for herpes, but maybe someone else can pipe in with help on whether you took the most reliable test or whether you should get tested again....

Thank you for the responses - I was just frustrated. I appreciate the replies I have received. I am desperate and guess I should have relaid such. Anyway without any symptoms (but tingling) my doctor put me on suppressive therapy and I hear good things about it so I am doing better emotionally! Thank you again!!!!

The bumps are just my skin, no warts. I took a blood test because someone said to me they thought they had it. Well, it came back positive so then I knew what the tingling was from. I have never had any other symptom. Doctor gave me both Valtrex and Zovirax.
