hi, I had one almost two months ago, along with some other work, and know what you're talking about - the numbness can really be annoying (left side for me). It's my understanding it can last three months or so. Don't worry - it's normal. My lip is finally almost completely fine now, and my chin isn't near as numb as it was, but all this regained feeling is relatively recent - the last week and a half.
