I suffered from a case of Shingles about 9 months ago when I was 33y/o. I have never experienced pain like that. I think it took about 6 weeks for the severe pain to subside. Now I was left dealing with big chunks of skin missing from the majority of the areas where the blisters were and eventually popped. My doctor suggested I use Bacitraycin to treat the infected skin areas. The Bacitraycin did a nice job of healing the skin. Now I was faced with some major scarring being left on my skin. The scarring has progressively healed with continued use of the Bacitraycin, but I wanted to try something else to seed up the process. I'm currently trying ScarZone to see if it will lighten or diminish the red raised scars, the ones that bother me the most. Has anybody suffered from a similar experience? Would love to hear others peoples ideas for dealing with Shingles scars?
Thanks
