I just dont know what to do. My dad isnt home, and I dont know how to approach him, if I do. You see, I was in his room watching TV just now, and i mean JUST NOW, and I saw some white powder on the floor, and in another spot i saw greenish grey powder spilled. I looked around in his drawers and found a pile about the size of a quarter of each, a razor blade(the piles had small chunks) and a metal tube. I know it is cocaine and weed, most likely. I just really need someones help on maybe what to do about it, without him being angry that i looked at his things(even though it was for good reason.)

Candace -- Sweetheart, how are you going to confront your father if you're not supposed to be going through his stuff? Maybe you should re-think this one right now. By the way -- are you old enough to be messing with these substances at all? Maybe you could inform an adult whom you are close to who could help you...

Candace -- Unless you are willing to take a risk and confront your father right now, I would leave it alone and wait until you have discussed the situation with someone else. Can you do that?

Ok..hold on..don't freak..the pink pills might be darvocet..a light opiate..the orange pill-is it hexogon shaped?Might be valium
The greyish-green powder..pot/coke..
I don't think he is gonna be happy you went thru his things..how old are you?
Does your Dad have/or had problems w/ drugs?Do you talk about drugs..or have a line of communication..about this..
Of course-you need to talk to him...but id be very tactful..and explain you have been worried..have you used drugs before?
Just need to know to try and help..

Thanks for all you help everyone, but theres no one I could go to for help that wouldnt try to ship him off into a rehab center. Ive never done drugs but in movies and stuff they talk about(and show in some movies) people sniffing things through a tube, cutting it with a razor and such. Hes had a friend who did drugs a lot before, but they dont talk at all anymore. Im not supposed to go through his things, but I knew that it would be in his bed drawers(waterbed drawers) because thats the only place he puts things. I just noticed it and instantly thought of a movie i saw(with him) with a girl on a tanning bed "Sniffing" or whatever you call it the same color and thickness substance.

your dad needs some help but has to find it on his own or if you guys have talked about him usin,he could use some words of encouragement from someone who loves him....maybe he doesnt need to know you went thru his drawers,just bring it up tonight about a friend from school whos usin ,you know better than me in your house how to begin a topic of drugs even if you are young....chef
