A post from someone suggested I ask the allergist i'm seeing 4 the first time on the 30th about Hyper IgE Syndrome..I did a lil research on the internet, & I was somewhat scared 2 see exactly how well the disease's symptoms matched mine..
*Chronic, severe, at times uncontrollable eczema since I was born
*Chronic bronchitis(cough variant asthma w/ shortness of breath), sinusitis, ear infections, allergic rhinitis
*Scoliosis
*Had my baby teeth 4 so long, I had 2 have most of them pulled in high school
*Cold sores on the nose, not the mouth
*Also severe dysmenorrhea/chronic pelvic pain(controlled by bcp's, don't know if this is related)
It just seems like everything I have is inflammatory conditions & something that causes inflammation is being produced 2much, i've been sick soo much, bronchitis 3x the past year, pneumonia, the flu, countless sinus infections & colds..it's horrible.
Does this sound like Hyper IgE Syndrome, is it worth taking a look into? What are the treatments? If treated for it, will all my symptoms get better or will I still need all the medication that I do?
Thanks guys..
