Yeah I know. How gross. But ever since my junior year in High School (which is a few years ago) I've had a problem with it. Even after I wore deodorant and took daily showers. I wouldn't even notice the how bad the smell was, I guess I got used to it somehow. But the people around me definitely noticed it. And it's not a very good thing. It caused me to become anti-social and depressed. I'd do whatever to avoid anything social, and just avoid people because I knew I smelled bad. I knew I took showers and put on deodorant. Even in my Senior Year Book a girl wrote on there that she thought I stunk and should take showers. You wouldn't believe how it made me feel. I just wanted to die.

Things you should know before anyone tries to give me some help:

1. I do take daily showers. Scrub under my arms and use soap.

2. It doesn't matter what deodorant I use. But out of all of them Degree Sheer Powder is what I use. And yes, I've tried every other deodorant out there.

Is there anything good out there that can help? Does anybody know of anything? Anyone have a similar problem? Please help.

I once had an infection under my left armpit (weird, I know), not really sure what caused it, but there was a strong order under just the left one. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and put some neosporn under it and it went away. This is what the nurse recommended at my docs office. Neosporn (I don't know if I am spelling that right) is like an antibotic.

Otherwise I would go to your doctor. There is prescription deordant. Is it your diet? I am not sure if eating a lot of spicy foods would have an effect or not. You may want to try a weekend of drinking a lot of water and green tea and eating foods like fruits, veggies and lean protien. Maybe that will cleanse out any sort of chemical imbalance. You could also do a search on ***** there is usually lots of good advice on that website.

Sometimes I feel like I stink by about noon each day. I have never had anyone comment on it. I don't think it's a big problem for me I just like to smell as fresh as I can all day. I find a way to stay smelling fresh longer is after I put on deordant I spray some of that body spray under my arms. You know like bath and body works. There are other brands also. It's actually called body splash. It keeps my arm pits smelling fresh all day. You can even buy a little bottle of it to take with you and spray your armpits with it throughout the day. Another thing I do is use antibacterial soap under my arms. I use the liquid kind by dial but any antibacterial soap will keep you smelling fresh longer.

Try NOT using deoderant for a week but keep cleaning everything, throw some baby powder on your underarms in the morning. Deoderant contains alot of things that are bad for you in it, maybe you're reacting to something, or maybe its trapping bacteria, is it an anti-persperant?
Are you healthy and physically active on a regular and consistant basis? The condition your body is in can be reflected by the orders it produces.

Best of luck fixing it. Have you seen a doctor yet though? I'd imagine they'd fix you up like the other person said how they were helped.

If you're simply using deodorant, it won't help with the odor. You need to use an anti-perspirant for that. I've never heard of the one you're using so maybe try something else. For soap, use either Dial or Safeguard; those are the two best on the market for odor-control. For anti-perspirant, there are several you can try - Arrid XX; Mitchem; Right-Guard;

You need to use something that will stop wetness and odor both. Also - and I don't know if you're guility of this or not - but do NOT wear the same shirt two days in a row. It's quite possible that some of the smell is simply coming from your clothes. Even if you don't do this, if you've had this problem for awhile, many times the odor in your clothes just can't be washed out anymore, and as soon as you start to perspire, it triggers the smell that's left in your clothes. Once you start to get this under control, you may wish to splurge on some new shirts.

There was a discussion on here awhile back about people who perspire heavily, and the suggestion given by alot of people was to use Arrid XX and Certain Dri both. The Certain Dri is to be used at night only, and the Arrid is used during the day as you normally would. What the Certain Dri does is basically block your pores; same principle as Mitchum but better. My husband has always had a problem with perspiration (not odor, just wetness) and he tried this and said for the first time in his life, he's dry all the time now. You may want to try these two and see if it helps. The odor is coming from somewhere; you don't mention wetness but I'm going to guess that's a problem, too, as that's usually when you have odor. Try the Arrid and Certain Dri and see if those help. Maybe using those and replacing your shirts will help.

I wish you well, and let us know if anything works....
