My son, who is 12, had an outbreak of what the Doctor called Impetigo a few weeks ago on the inside of his thighs. It got pretty bad, scabbing over and really red. He took a course of antibiotics and used an ointment and it almost completely cleared up. Now its back and worse this time. He even has some very small bumps on both arms. Is this Impetigo, or something else. It itches alot and also hurts, mainly because of his legs rubbing together. He has an appointment with another Doctor tomorrow. Im worried about him.
Thanks.

I had impetigo 2 times on my face. It's very very itchy. It probably somehow spread or wasn't fully gone and that's why it has come back so soon. It's very contagious and easily spread. Make sure he isn't touching it. I know how hard that is because it's so itchy.
