I've been on coumadin since June of 2003 after having surgery to have blood clots removed from my arteries in both of my legs. I have also lost about 60 pounds since June. Lately I've noticed that I am always cold. I used to be the type of person who was always hot and fighting with my roommate to keep the air conditioner lower. But now I have to bring a jacket with me everywhere I go. I live in Florida so that usually doesn't happen often. I'm not sure if it's because I have lost the weight or if my blood is thinner. I was hoping maybe someone has some information on coumadin and temperature tolerance.

Losing weight will affect your ability for temperature tolerance. Heavier people have more fat obviously, and fat acts as an insulator. Also, it might be your thyroid gland. A hypoactive thyroid will cause you to feel cold/chilled. You might want to get that checked out.
