Hi was wondering if anyone can help for the past few days i have had severe breast and nipple pain, i'm not pregnant and it's not the usual pms pain i normally get it's so bad that i think if someone bumped my breast i would pass out and it's both sides i would be grateful of any suggestions or if anyone has suffered anything similar.

thats sounds like mastitiss - a breast infection, have you got a fever as well? Are there any red patches? You had better visit a gp just to make sure as if it is you could end up with an abscess. Have you had any children?

Hi Mizzchif i did feel like i had a bit of a temperature but no red patches, I have 1 son ages 15, I have an appointment at the docs on tuesday was just hoping to get an idea of what it may be i can't walk normally have to take it very slow and when removing my bra it is agony from about the middle of the nipple down anyway thanks for taking time to reply i'll post and let you know how i get on at the docs.

Hi there went to the doc's yesterday morning she done a breast examination but said shoul couldn't find any lumps but is sending me to the hospital to have a mamogram done but there is still no change in the way they feel will keep posting.

Hi got my appointment through for the breast clinic for monday the 19th of april at 3:15 says i could be there for up to 3 hours anyway nothing has changed still very sore and swollen i'll keep posting till this thing is sorted

went back to the doc's b4 i went for appointment a breast clinic the doc gave me some antibiotics and by the time i went to the breast clinic everything was cleared up so they didnt do a mamogram what a relief.
