If my goal is to lose weight (10-15 lbs), should I do HIIT every time I do cardio (which is usually 4 times a week), or should I still do some longer sessions of just moderate intensity cardio? (I'm also lifting weights 3 times a week). Thanks!

It's a matter of personal opinion. I do it twice a week, with some longer durations in between.
variation is a good way to kepp from getting bored as well.
IMO HIIT every cardio session is too much.

I agree. I like to mix it up. I listen to my body and if it says do it, I will go for it. I do it 3 or 4 days a week. On the other days I do it at a moderate pace, which for me is about 80% of maximum. When I do HIIT time goes by faster. I like the change of pace.
