I know you get lots of people on here saying " try this or that - it cured me! after 2 weeks of mono" etc and I always felt those people didn't know what they were talking about. I caught mono while in Japan 4 years ago and have had serious CFS symptoms for the last 2 years.

recently, here in Japan, I caught a TV program about diets lacking fibre. One of the symptoms of an over stressed large intestine (to put it bluntly, the large intestine is full of poop all the time) is fatigue. The asian style doc I go to here always tells me my intestines are the seat of my problems so I decided to give the diet change mentioned on the TV show a try. I know I want to try _anything_ to improve or cure my illness. I have had a significant improvement since trying this so I am posting this for any other people suffering who want to try something new in the hope of finding some relief from this horrible illness.

Every day I eat a half a grapefruit with the white stuff (pith) and a mandarin with the white stuff blended. I also add Japanese kanten seaweed jelly but I guess for most people reading this you wont be able to buy that, but it doesn't matter. The white stuff on the outside of the grapefruit is _really_ important as it is fibre rich. Drink this before and during your meal. Not only does it fill you up, but it will keep your intestines clear. Since starting this I have had a significant improvement. Not cured but I feel human! and have been able to go out with friends more often than has been possible in years.

I am not saying this is a definate cure, but it has made me regular which in itself is a good thing, so there's no harm in trying something new , right!
anyone else who has had sucess with something natural you are welcome to post here too.

Sending you happy, energetic vibes from the Orient,

Corrina
