Thought maybe some of you could shed some light on this recent development I've had.
I'd say three days ago my nipples started getting VERY sore.....Breasts aren't tender at all...it's just the nipples.
They haven't had any trama or anything more than light touching over the past week (Fiance was in town)...There's no discoloration that I can tell....and no discharge so I'm kinda at a loss.
I haven't started any new medication.....and this isnt' pre-period pain....I'm actually on a BCP that's affectively stopped my period. LOL...and even if AF is deciding to pay a visit...I've never had Breast/nipple pain with it before..
So...any thoughts as to what could be causing this? Or atleast on how to alleviate it?...

Is there a chance you could be pregnant? Sore nipples can often be an early sign of pregnancy - even the best contraceptives can fail. You should get a test asap.

awwwwww don't tell me that I don't need that 2 months before the wedding LOL
while it's possible (no denying it....)....I sorta doubt it...I'm very good about taking my pill (which I know isn't 100%) And we still use condoms.....
for me to be preggers it would have had to of happened in mid Feb....and we didn't have any condom failure then.
But I guess (now that it's been mentioned I'll freak over it)....I'll give it a few more days then test....

Thats what I thought at 18 when the same thing happend to me, but I do have a friend who has gotten pregnant on 3 differnt types of birth control, you could do a home test right away just to rule it out ...

Eh don't worry about it.
We're both adults and know the risk...so if it turns out I'm pregnant it'll be unplanned but we'll manage. It'll just kinda be hard to explain to everyone else that it happened BEFORE the wedding....
but out of curiosity is there anything else that could cause nipple pain!?...

Ok thought I'd pop in and say I went to grab a PG test on my way home from the bank today as well as grab some perscriptions and the dang store didn't have any out on the shelf (or their hiding them very well from me :p )
So I guess I'll try again tomorrow....their not quite as sore as they were but their still quite tender as well as the breasts now.....so I'm sorta hoping it's a mind over matter issue now LOL

Absolutely no sores...no discharge or discoloration...
Took a hpt today...and it came back negative...so I'm really rather clueless again....though the pain hasn't completely gone away...it has significantly lessend...

Hmm, if it continues, you should definately see your gyn..it's probably nothing, just hormonal or something.
I actually contracted herpes on both of my nipples, each nipple having 1 sore, and the pain from that was absolutely excrutiating!
