ive been friends with his sister since we were babies. Jared is her younger brother with autism. hes around 9 now. What really makes me wonder is there are 4 other autistic kids in our town, within blocks of each other, all the same age. can autism be caused by the shots they give the child as a baby?

I know my son's autism was brought on by vaccinations. He was born normal, progressed normal, talked, was social, had eye contact, etc... untill he was two...the day he had his polio, hib, dpt, and mmr. within that month, he regressed slowly. They put mercury, formaldahyde, aluminum, and other discusting things in shots that are known to cause neurological problems in children. We are now seeing a rise in autism (I believe) because they keep mandating more and more shots. When I was a baby (in 1971) we only had around 10 shots before we entered kindergarten. Today, I think we are supposed to give them around 30! I heard in california and New Jersery that autism is 1 in every 150 kids! This is not a proven fact, but many people belive this therory.

there's a book called a shot in the dark by Harris L. Coutlter and Barbara Loe Fisher. It talks about the DPT shot and many problems it has caused children. In the book, it has many stories of babies developing epilesy from the pertussis in in the dpt.
