hello out there.. a few thoughts on this subject...myself, my two sons, two of my brothers, two nephews, {one more with tourrett's} a little autisim thrown in, most hyper as heck..all brilliant..{i.q. 150and up} a scholarship to west point, but none of us got thru the public school system HAPPY..we were all a lot differant..we didn't fit in.most on medicine..ritalin,adderall,cylert,HOMESC HOOL it's the best thing you can do.{all you need is a high school diploma} an observation.. every one wants to know what has my kid "got".. a name for it..sometimes it's two symptoms of THIS diaganosis and four symptoms of THAT diagnosis..just treat the symptoms.. that's all. to medicate or not to medicate??? Dr.Venucci -Hershey Medical ,PA. {one of the top 3 child neurologists in this country} told me the less the better.
I hope this makes people out there think...I see 6 year olds on 54mg. of concerta, and I wonder have they tried 36mg.??how about 18???the less the better.
