Can anyone tell me about how long it will take to boost my metabolism working with weights? I've been reading that they've done studies where people gain about 3 pounds in the first 8 weeks of strength training. I do want to gain muscle, and thats all well and good, but how long until I have enough where I can begin eating a little more? 2 weeks? 4? ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
