I am wondering if anyone else has this problem and how to get rid of it. I am a 31 year old female and about two years ago I started getting small bumps on my face, mainly on my cheeks, it wasn't like acne or pimples, they were just small bumps the colour of my skin. I couldn't feel them there or anything but I always had pretty good skin before and it was really bothering me so I went to my doctore who prescribed me some cortisone cream 2%. The bumps went away and I continued using the cream until it was gone, about a month and a half.
I thought my problem was gone only to discover that about a week or so after stopping the cortisone cream, my face broke out into an almost rosacea or dermatits condition. My face was really red, and felt like it was burning and stinging along with bigger redder bumps, it looked and felt awful. I went back to the doctor who sent me to a dermatogist who gave me more cortisone cream at a lesser strength, I used the cream and once again when I stopped using it the conditon came back
To make a long story short, 3 dermatologist and two years later, I have been given hydrocortisone cream, antibiotics, acne medication like benzoyl peroxide, retion-A. elidel etc.. I have been told it's 4 or 5 different skin conditons. My skin has become worse and worse, it breaks out in small pimples everywhere, it's super itcy and feels really dry yet greasy at the same time. My condition has got worse and worse and I think the cortisone creams have made it worse. I can't get rid of this dry, itcy, and greasy skin. Anyone had this happen from cortisone cream and how do I get rid of it? I am sick of doctors, none of them have helped
