Sister in law has two children just diagnosed with autism. She is looking to move to Florida or Illinois. We are looking for any info on ABA training, doctors, and good school districts that can help with therapy. Please let me know if anyone has any information that would be helpful. Thank you.

Those are 2 of the best states for ABA. I do ABA in North Carolina, but many still do not know what it is. It is the best therapy for children with autism. I believe in St. Louis, they have schools which actually do ABA!!! and there are many more in FL. too. I hope this little bit helps.~

There are not many ABA Therapist in my area... Depends where you sister is moving to... If it is the East caost of Fl. there are many more resources there... The school in my county are fair as far as Autistic children go... Have to be a strong parent and fight for what you/Therapist and Dr's want you child to have... There is one Ph.D in the area that I would highly reccomend for children with autism, depending on their age and ability level... Also in my area is CARD (center for autism and related disorders) They are at the University of South Florida...
