I normally don't do this sort of thing but I'm really worried and looking for some answers (and possibly peace of mind). I have what I think is a yeast infection. I've had one before and knew what types of symptoms to look for. I was given a 7 day course of antibotics for a bladder infection about 3 weeks ago so I think that is what caused it. I used the seven day OTC cream for about three days before my symptoms went away but didn't finish the medication. I know, stupid move on my part. My symptoms came back about three days ago and again I'm using the OTC stuff. My symptoms don't seem to be going away as easily this time around. I still have that annoying itch and slight burning sensation. I also had unprotected sex around the same time as when the bladder infection occured. My question is this: Do I have a yeast infection that won't quit or am I just kidding myself and I possibly contracted something? I've heard it's possible for men to pass a yeast infection back to you so I was also wondering if that could be my problem too. Any help or info would be appreciated.

Only a doctor can answer your question. Any time you have unprotected sex, there is a possiblity of contracting something.
