My mom's just found out she has skin cancer on her nose. It's like a cyst and the doctor said it's a mild form that only spreads on the skin and not in the body. Does it have a name?

I am not sure but that is probably basal cell. I have had two basal cells and a malignant melanoma. If it is on her nose make sure her doctor does the mohs surgery. Less scarring.

Basil cell or Squama cell. Both are mild compared to Melanoma. Best to catch early because they will not have to go as deep and that means less scaring. I have had many Basil cells. They are no big deal when caught early.
