The budget cut for California will effect you, if you live in California...
I am a mother of a 12 year old boy who has Down syndrome..My husband is on the board that helps employ 400+ special needs adults...If this budget cut happens the doors will be closed as of the end of September. Not only was this a job to these young adults it was a place of value...for them to go to daily...It gives them porpose and a chance to see there friends...This is only one of the organazations that will hurt...your reginal moneys will be cut...and so will the centers...YOU WILL FEEL THE INPACT....Don't let them get away with it...Be that voice for your child now...It can only get worse..We just started closing institutions...

What you can do:::::
On September 4, 10:30 pm.. join us for a rally to put pressure upon the legislature to sign the budget..Similar rallies will take place on the same day in other areas of the State..We will begin the raily at the building housing the office of assembly memeber Bill Leonard (located on the SE corner of Haven and Foothill: 10535 Foothill blvd..and then march to the office of Sentor Brulte. If the budget is signed prior to sept 4 the rally will be cancelled...

I am taking my son out of school that morning so the power can take a look in my sons eyes and alow me to be his voice...I am hoping to see you there...
Please...1 can make a difference.... jj.

Yes...now we just have to keep an eye on the action rather than words....ask your reginal worker to keep you updated on these kinds of things...they won't tell if we don't ask...go figure...jj
