My daughter is 9 years old and refuses to wear clothes of any kind, unless she is at school. Now even that seems to be changing, she is now starting to undress at school. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
My son is 6 and he spends most of the time naked at home, but there are some clothes he won't take off, in his case is a long sleeves cotton t shirt(wich a got 5 of)and some pijama pants that I guess feel good, I think it can be a sensory thing and her clothes may be not comfortable for her, my son won't wear loose clothing it has to be a little tight so he can feel it .
I hope that helped a little.

Susana.

Because our kids seem to be so sensitive maybe its the smell. Have you changed your detergent or dryer sheets. Or maybe she just decided she doesn't like what you're currently using. Could also be the fabrics. Just a thought, good luck!

I know with my daughter that it's the texture of the clothes, she WILL NOT wear any jeans or stiff items, I have to go with cottons or anything soft and never itchy or high on the neck! Also she won't wear them if they have buttons because she can't fasten them she gets to frustrated, but I have solved that problem though by cutting off the button and sealing it with fabric glue so it won't run. Then I sew the button back on the front part and sew in some velcro so they look like normal shorts but she dosn't need any help with them.
Hope that helps a little
