National Autism Regisrty makes these cards stating that your child has autism and may not be able to tolerate long wait times. These cards may be used at Disney, or in restaurants, etc. From what I understand most companies will accomidate you the best they can when you present this card to them. Hope this has helped any of the parents that have a heck of a time with their children in long wait lines :) Oh, and yes the cards are free when you order them, they come right to your home in the mail.

where can i get the cards. i am in scotland. i am sure a lot of parents here would find them useful. we are going to disneyworld next year we would use it there.
also i have a speach problem so it would come in handy as i would not have to explain about my son.

Trisha,
In the UK, try the charity BIBIC. They do similar cards.
