I get burning pains in my back/shoulder and shooting down my arm. Usually on the left side although sometimes on my right. My right shoulder blade burns when I sit in one position too long. My hands go completely numb when sleeping(which my Dr says is from a pinched nerve).Could this all be related to one or more pinched nerves? What can they do about it(if anything). I am supposed to be going for an MRI-don't know when yet. Is this the best test to have done for this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry About Your Neck And Shoulder Pain, Well I Have The Same Problem, Had The Mri, And The Dr Says I Have Cervical Disc Desease, In Short, Old Age, I Am 52 ,have Been A Pipe Fitter Since I Was 19, So Since Feb 1st Had Therapy Three Times A Week.
Also Taking 500 Mg Naproxin, Two Times Daily.
Still Have The Pain,
The Mri Also Shows Bone Spurs, C4 C 5 And C6 C7.
So Abby Thye Pain And Numbness Is Caused From A Slipped Disc, Or Bone Spurs Hitting The Nerve.
This Is What Three Doctors Told Me And One Is A Nero Surgeon, Excuse The Spelling, Hope You Feel Better.
