Hello,
I was hoping someone out there could help with some answers. Five weeks ago, my daughter had Breast reduction surgery, for medical reasons. The incision that runs down from the nipple is still leaking and bleeding, not a whole lot, but it drips, and it seems that the incision has spread and to my untrained eyes, it looks as though it is open, not real deep, but I think it should be closed at least if not healed after five weeks. She has been back to the doctor (at my instigating) twice, he says it's perfectly normal and won't close for at least three months. This just doesn't sound right to me, I thought perhaps someone had had this type of surgery and could help enlighten me. Thank you for reading this post.
