Hi Deb,
Well I saw my GYN Wed. and she did find a cyst along the lateral side where I've been always having pain. I asked her why a second ultrasound was not done when I had the repeat mammogram a few weeks ago and she really didn't answer but did give me a script to have one done. What is really interesting is why didn't the general surgeon locate the cyst when I saw him 2wks ago??? Makes me wonder. I am glad to be going for the 2nd opinion even if just for piece of mind. Sue, I'm so glad that you are actively investigating your situation. You are your own best health advocate! Keep up the pressure on the medical staff to help you resolve your questions. Your second opinion should really bring you that peace of mind and allow you to go on living your life without this immediate worry always rearing it's head!
