My husband was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer December 26th, and given 6-9 months to live, 1 year if he is lucky. Since then, besides the effects from chemo, he has felt realtively good. He does sleep alot, and is winded very easily. But still eats good, and has not lost any weight. The cancer has metastisised to his spine (that was also found in December). So, he does feel pain in his lower and thoracic spin, but not severe enough for any pain medication. He also has lesions on his liver that have shrunk to 1.4 cm. The tunor is his lung has shrunk enough to almost completely open his lung. The cancer that was on his brain (both sides) was effectively treated with radiation, as of 3 weeks ago, no signs of cancer on his brain.
I am sure every person is different. But, though this may seem to be the story that someone else has experienced.
Thanks for any information!

So sorry to hear about your husband. A dramatic change is diet is crucial which means a plant based diet with absolutely NO sugar both refined and natural. Do as much research in this area as possible. Consider doing a search on these two names: Janet E. Vitt who cured herself of advanced lung cancer using a Macrobotic Diet. The 2nd name is Patrick Quillin. This would be a good start. Since your doctors are giving you NO hope using conventional therapy why not look elsewhere. I have read many, many testimonials of cancer patients who are cured using a nutritional approach. Seek and you shall find.

Michael- Thank you so much for the information. I just did a search on both names and found a lot of information. I am going to teh bookstore today to see if I can find Patrick Quillin's book.
Thank you again!

Renee, you're moving quickly which is so important. Consider searching:
Lorraine Day who cured herself of advanced cancer. Another cancer survivor is William D. Kelley. "Knowledge is Power".

Renee I believe in alternitive healing have known of people
who have use it and it worked. I think a positive attitude
helps. In the case of my dad it helped him his last year.
The thing with my mom is she was working up until the
day before she got the news of her lung cancer. Then she
just seem to give up right after finding out. She did not
go back to work she slept like 18 hours a day. Would not
go outside unless it was to the doctors. She only made it
7 months and I think some had to do with not keeping a
positive attitude. On the other hand my girlfriend Laura's
mom got cancer in 1982 not sure what type but I know it
was serious she was only given 6 months to live. She
stayed positive changed her diet and used herbs and
vitamins and she turned that 6 months into 6 years when
she passed away in 1988. Good luck to you and my
thoughts are with you and your husband. Haylee
