I can't handle this anymore. It's been 4 weeks and I still have symptoms. The bumps have gotten smaller but they are still visible. Has anybody ever had scars from this, because the blisters aren't weeping anymore but I can still see where they once were. I have an appointment with an infectious disease doctor, but it's not for another 3 weeks. I dont even go out anymore because I'm afraid of meeting someone I'd want to be with or vise-versa. I've tried Lysine, golden seal, echinacea, vitamin c, choraphor, I work out, nothing works!!! This is my first OB, I think (first noticible OB). I dont know what else to do. I just spent another 100 bucks on the zapper which I should get in a couple days. I'll let you guy and girls know how that works. I dont really have a question, I'm just blowing steam!!! I love women and I love being intimate, and this whole thing has made me feel like less of a man because I know I can't satisfy a woman right now or for the last month as far as I can remember. Bummin hard...

Hey Bummin,
No, you shouldn't have scars when it's all said and done. Some people do have a mark for a little while, but the amazing thing about herpes is it gets so ugly so fast and then it goes away completely.
Sorry this OB is taking so long to heal. It sounds like you're doing the right thing, hopefully this will be far and away your worst OB. (Hopefully it will be your ONLY OB!!).
Let us know how the zapper works, I'm curious. Hope it does!
Herpes is a bummer, but you're not less of a man because of it. You'll feel lots better once your body finally gets this outbreak under control.
take care

There are a lot more ways to satisfy a woman than with intercourse...physically and nonphysically.
